At Yogatri, we’ve been running our group classes for over two years now. We’re pleased to say that the friendly atmosphere and emphasis on finding your own level remains a core part of the Yogatri experience. We do recognise, however, that large group sessions aren’t for everyone, especially beginners who may find it daunting to join a group in full swing.

This is just one of the reasons we have decided to start offering one-to-one sessions from the comfort of the Yogatri studio! Booking a one-to-one session with our instructor, Debbie Hannant, will give you a chance to focus on your body, personal ability and fitness levels more thoroughly.

The one-to-one experience, with Yogatri

As well as providing a more personal space to practice in, a one-to-one session will aid you in gaining a better understanding of your own body and your capabilities through dedicated, personal instruction. Think of it as a consultation; a stepping stone on your journey to better fitness.

People sometimes (mistakenly) think the goal of a fitness technique such as Yoga or Pilates is to achieve certain poses as quickly as possible. However, in reality, it is much more important to improve your breathing and flexibility slowly, helping you advance gradually over time. The completion of more difficult poses is the result of hard work and focus, a reward, a goal not to be rushed towards.

Booking a one-to-one session at the Yogatri studio will help us find your level, give you useful tips and instruction to improve at your chosen pace. You’re free to book as many one-to-one sessions as you like, or you can choose to join one of our more regular classes at any time. You can find a list of our many classes here on our website.

About the Yogatri studio

The Yogatri studio, situated in the picturesque village of Whickham, was purpose-built to provide a more intimate and peaceful space for our classes. This is a place where attendees can truly focus on their fitness, free of distraction. The Yogatri studio is home to small, regular classes as well as the aforementioned one-to-ones.

You don’t have to be new to Yogatri’s blend of yoga, Pilates and fitness to take advantage of a one-to-one class at the tranquil Yogatri studio.
